We Took in Cookie from the Shelter

Cookie was surrendered by her owner to the West Los Angeles shelter.

She has mammary tumors, which is probably why she was surrendered. The shelter staff loved her and said she was really friendly, but she couldn’t get adopted to the public due to the medical condition, and she wasn’t getting rescued. Our friend Alexandra Bonvicini reached out and organized a team of people to pull her from the shelter and transport her to The Shabby Dog, who kennels our rescues for FREE. Here is video of her at the shelter:

We will be taking her to the vet this week to get the tumors looked at, and we will be updating of course. If you pledged to Cookie, or would like to donate to her care, please donate through PayPal at this link. (You do not need a PayPal account to donate). Or you can mail your pledge or donation to Free Animal Doctor, 70 E. Montecito Ave., Sierra Madre, CA 91024.
