Two weeks ago when Walt Disney had surgery to remove his a gallbladder stone the size of a pinky tip. After the procedure, the doctors noticed that his teeth looked pretty bad.

After some tests they concluded that he has severe periodontal disease and gingivitis with some missing teeth and will need several extractions. So he doesn't have a terrible time eating, the poor little guy will have to eat special wet food from now on.

Walt Disney joined James' family in 2010 when he was just 1 years old. One day, James passed a litter of Chihuahua puppies and once Walt ran into his arms, he knew he was the one. James and his family have loved and taken care of him ever since. James pays for Walt's general care and has done his best contributing to his previous surgery which cost about $3,000.00. He just wants to give his best friend at least another 8 more years but like many of us he can't afford it.

Walt's has been a wonderful companion to James, his father, and used to be to James' mother. James' mom passed away August of 2017 and Walt has been right by his side helping him through this difficult time.

Walt is being treated at Prestige Animal Hospital and will be going in for another look in a couple days. We want to make sure he gets the treatment and at least a year's worth of his special food. As we approach the holiday season, let's help give this little guy get his 8 more years!
