Ading's Tumor is Dangerously Close to Her Heart!
Her family has already had a number of diagnostic work done on Ading, and a recent ultrasound reveals that an internal tumor in her abdomen is dangerously close to her heart. Before proceeding with surgery she needs a detailed CT scan to determine where it is safe to do the surgery and an EKG on her heart to make sure she is healthy enough. In the meantime poor Ading is having trouble eating, and is losing weight. In these photos you can see how her muscles are deteriorating to the point where her spine is started to protrude, a clear sign of malnourishment in dogs:
What we are doing for Ading
Her family has run out of funds and needs everyone's help to pay for her testing and then surgery. CT Scans are very expensive, as is having them reviewed by a specialist veterinarian. We are working on doing the scan in Mexico, at a substantially reduced rate, but we are not sure if that we be an option in Ading's case.
The problem Ading faces
She is older, and she really has be checked thorough before surgery. The tumor has expanded and is making it so she cannot really digest food, thus she has no appetite. She needs to be in good health for the surgery, and as she loses weight this gets worse. It really is getting to be urgent for her to have these tests so she can have her surgery. If you can please help Ading by sharing her story, and if you can make a donation to her care. Thank you!
